As most of us will agree, it’s often us ladies who are prone to feeling a bit emotional. But for husband and wife presenting duo Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, the stereotype couldn’t be further from the truth.
The couple have admitted that it’s Eamonn, 54, who is most likely to find himself feeling a little teary, and Ruth, 53, isn’t impressed!
‘I’m a very emotional, sentimental person, Ruth isn’t,’ Eamonn has said. ‘I’ll listen to a song and a tear will roll down my face, whereas Ruth will go, ‘What are you crying for?’ Sometimes I don’t even know what I’m crying about. It could be about poverty, my children, my parents – but until she knows I’m crying about her, she’ll be jealous,’ he revealed.
