Woman’s Day is Australia’s number one-selling weekly women’s magazine, offering all the latest celebrity gossip and exclusive interviews as well as fascinating real-life reads, mouth-watering recipes, beauty, fashion, food, health and family advice.
As I was reading through the following pages, it struck me that there are countless stories of special family bonds in this week’s issue. Ellidy Pullin, the brave widow of late Olympic snowboarder Alex “Chumpy” Pullin, shares how family helped her overcome grief and welcome her adorable daughter Minnie into the world (p36). Much-loved TV chef Manu tells of his emotional reunion with his estranged dad (p28), and our Aussie golden girl Nicole Kidman was joined by her adoring family (including her very grown-up daughters – how did that happen so fast?) as she was awarded the highest honour in Hollywood. Here’s to families of all kinds. Erin Holohan, Editorial Director…

It’s the question everyone has been wanting to know the answer to: will Prince Harry visit his sick sister-in law, the Princess of Wales, while in London this week? The decision, it seems, has been made for him. Woman’s Day has been told the Prince of Wales has issued his estranged brother, who is visiting the UK to mark the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, a warning to stay away from Kate, 42, and their three children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, nine, and six-year-old Prince Louis. It comes after William, 41, has been under immense strain over the past few months, balancing caring for his wife and children while also stepping in as his father King Charles has been undergoing treatment following his own cancer diagnosis. HEALTH COMES…
King Charles made a glorious return to public duties last week, releasing a new portrait with the Queen by his side to mark the occasion. The 75-year-old monarch has plenty to celebrate following encouraging news from his doctors. While not yet in remission, a palace spokesperson says, “His Majesty’s medical team are very encouraged by the progress made so far. Doctors are sufficiently pleased that the King is now able to resume a number of public-facing duties.” The King’s first stop last week, with dutiful Camilla, 76, alongside him, was a cancer treatment centre where he hoped to help raise awareness for early diagnosis. “He’s thrilled to be back on the roster, and Camilla’s so proud of him,” a palace source tells Woman’s Day. …
DATE NIGHT APRIL 25 The on-screen spark between Ada Nicodemou and James Stewart has spilled over into a real relationship, with the pair spotted getting cosy on a Sydney street on Anzac Day. An onlooker says the Home And Away co-stars showed up for drinks at an inner-city hotel around lunchtime, where they spent the day enjoying each other’s company before they were snapped smooching in an alleyway on their way home that evening. A source close to the stars tells Woman’s Day the pair’s relationship is only new. “They’ve recently been on a few dates,” says the source, who confirms that Ada, 46, has split from her businessman boyfriend Adam Rigby, 54. “Ada and Adam broke up towards the end of 2023.” News of the fresh romance comes just…
The ladies of Farmer Wants A Wife are lifting the lid on what goes on off-camera. “There is quite a lot of work,” shares one of Farmer Bert’s ladies, Karli. “Outfit approvals with wardrobe, hair, makeup and plenty of retakes, including wide angles and repeats of particular snippets for different scenes!” There are also plenty of chances to chill out, though. “We aren’t really allowed to do any jobs around the farm due to health and safety regulations, so when there is downtime on the farm, Bert is busy working, so I often go for a run, do some cooking, cleaning or just relax by the pool,” the 32-year-old tells Woman’s Day. STAR STATUS Farmer Joe’s date Calya, 27, says the girls get the five-star treatment! “It kind of feels…
