It’s a milestone in the life of any child, and for Prince George, his first day at preschool was no different. The cheeky prince, who’s two-and-a-half this month, took his first big step into school life last week. He arrived without fanfare for day one as a student at Westacre Montessori School in Norfolk, dressed in a cute blue parka and armed with a light-blue backpack.
Continuing their habit of breaking from royal tradition, his parents the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge kept George’s first day a private affair. Kate, 34, and William, 33, were both there to see George off, driving him to the relatively isolated school from their home in Norfolk.
