A modest home in the Sydney suburb of Glebe has become an historical landmark in recognition of the unshakable courage and important contributions of editor, commentor and journalist Dorothy Drain. On September 10, 2024, a blue plaque was unveiled on Dorothy’s former Glebe home to honour her contribution to journalism in NSW and Australia more broadly. The blue plaque is inspired by similar London memorials.
