ISA Yachts has recently announced the sale of the first 100’of the Super Sportivo GTO range. As the name suggests, this is a truly performing yacht which thanks to a pair of 2,000 HP engines is capable of 50 knots despite the size thanks to GRP with carbon and kevlar fibres as well which is notably weight saving when compared to steel. Following the success the 26X and the 32XP enjoyed, Turkish shipyard Numarine has decided to expand the existing Explorer fleet with a new 45 metre model. This new flagship recalls the former two models in some ways and has new features added to it such as an open bow area along the main deck, which is nevertheless partially shut off by the hull’s topsides and by the very structure and configuration of the upper deck which offers an exclusive lounge area in which the owner can relax. Azimut’s new flag ship of the Collezione S range was drawn up with Alberto Mancini’s collaboration together with the yard’s in house design team situated in Avigliana. The exterior lines thanks to Mancini’s input recall automotive traits as well as several from the aircraft industry. The project design work for this model entailed blending harmoniously megayacht elegance, the architecture of a modern villa overlooking the sea, with sporty automotive traits. One of the more striking features is represented by a centre cockpit area which is situated a fraction lower down to offer guests added privacy and more shelter.
