Introduce natural materials Choose tactile pieces to enhance that country feel, such as light-oak chairs with a pebble-smooth finish and a textured jute rug. Add softness with linen napkins, a woollen throw and cushions. 3. Pick muted colours Use faded shades with a matt finish to add colour while creating a peaceful scheme. Choose colours inspired by the country, such as sage green, chalky blue and warm ochre, and use them on furniture and accessories. 4. Create an informal feel This look is light and airy, but is also cosy and relaxed thanks to mismatched…

We’re both originally from the Midlands and met working together in Leamington Spa, so it felt fitting that we should bring the family back here.
