DUE TO CUSTOMER DEMAND, CHEVROLET IS EXPANDING THE AVAILABILITY OF THE 6.2L V-8 ENGINE WITHIN ITS FULL-SIZE SUV LINEUP BY INTRODUCING THE TAHOE AND SUBURBAN PREMIER PLUS SPECIAL EDITIONS. The 6.2L V-8 was first made available in the Chevy full-size SUV lineup on the 2018 Tahoe RST 6.2L Performance Package. The engine recently debuted on the 2019 Suburban RST 6.2L Performance Package, which is now on sale at Chevrolet dealerships nationwide. MANY YEARS AGO, WE CAME UPON A PROJECT THAT HAD BEEN ABANDONED BY A BUILDER WHO HAD MOVED ON TO OTHER THINGS. It was a 1968 GMC Suburban three-door that had been shortened a little more than a foot, and a fourth door had been roughed in. We were in love! The price was right and that fourth door was already hinged and swingin’, so after going in halfsies with Travis Pruis of CTP Concepts, we dragged it over to Travis’ place and started making plans. Heck, Travis even drew up a rendering, and in the process turned it into a Chevy with shaved marker lights (making it a Tahoe instead of a Yukon).
