TOM BENNETT IS NO STRANGER TO MODIFIED CARS AND TRUCKS. In fact, his history with customs is deeply rooted in the mini truck scene. As Tom got a little bit older, his interest in vehicles didn’t change much, although he was more determined than ever to find a classic pickup that he could learn to customize on his own. Tom had relied on shops to dial in his rides in the past but he wanted to break away from the pattern of hiring others to do the work he knew he could handle in his home garage. Crystal Johnson name her Truck “7 Summers because it was her husband Adam Johnson’s favorite Morgan Wallen Song and the main reason is because it took her 7 summer to get a truck of her own to display on the show field. Crystal purchased the truck from Bee Jay Anderson after they were discussing buying a shop truck to promote his upholstery business. After getting the truck home, Crystal already had plans on changing the truck from Carolina Tar Heel blue. To accomplish the first step, “7 Summers” was dropped off at Graham Paint & Body.
