IN RECENT YEARS, there have been a few trends in the truck scene that have gotten huge attention. Classic trucks have undoubtedly been one hot segment, and those built in a Pro-touring style have gained serious momentum in the scene. This genre has caught on like wildfire, luring more and more folks all of the time. An event that can easily be titled the most popular meeting in mini-truck history, Resolutions was started by Westside Truckers in 1976. Overseeing its inception, history and rise to mini-truck fame has been Bob Hase. When Bob retired from the service and began searching for a club, he and Jim Lynskey secured permission to start the Whittier, California, branch of Westside Truckers.
