LAND Rover is world renowned for its expeditions, and with demand for the classic Defender hotter than microchips (well almost) and a must-have for any car collector worth their salt, the brand’s Classic division has put two and two together. It is creating 25 Classic Defender Works V8 Trophy II vehicles, at a basic price of £225,000. Each is finished in a unique exterior design that plays homage to the 23 locations that have played a part in Land Rover’s illustrious off-roading and exploration adventures for more than 70 years. These include, among others, the Camel Trophy, First Overland and the G4 Challenge.
