After lots of hard work, James and I have done almost everything we need to, and the car is very nearly ready for the road. This month we’re working though the last details, sorting wiring, lighting, bodywork, and all those little tidying jobs left on the list.
We’ve roughly two types of work now. There’s the wiring to finish, including fitting the secondary loom that deals with lights, horn and indicators. Then we have the bodywork, fitting the front wings, windscreen, hood sticks and various other parts. It’s a fast-paced, exciting time, as each job makes the vehicle look more and more like a finished car again.
