THE future of women’s golf in New South Wales has never looked brighter. Recognising the immense talent and potential women bring to the game, Golf NSW has prioritised bridging the gender gap in the sport.
This commitment has resulted in concrete steps being taken to raise the prominence of women’s golf through premier tournaments like the Women’s NSW Open and the Australian Women’s Classic – Bonville.
From its beginnings in 2006, the NSW Women’s Open has emerged as a marquee event on the Australian women’s golf calendar, attracting top talent from around the country and beyond. Players from over 30 countries, including the United States, England, Argentina, Spain, Ireland, Switzerland, Sweden, New Zealand, India, France, Finland, Belgium and more, will participate.
