THESE giant lizards have been around for millions of years, but scientists only started studying them about 100 years ago. Wild Komodo dragons live only on Indonesia’s Lesser Sunda Islands. They look strong and powerful, with a wide, flat head, rounded snout, bowed legs and a huge, muscular tail. They walk in a slow, wobbly way, swinging their head from side to side and flicking their tongue in and out all the time.
