THE family’s fridge is covered in photos of their two sons, happy childhoods frozen in time – a bittersweet reminder of a time now lost.
A box of chocolate-flavoured ProNutro, the favourite breakfast of their eldest boy, Reza Saloogee, is untouched in the kitchen. For years, Saturdays in the house started with the teen yelling, “Where’s my breakfast?” as he searched for his cereal.
