A BRAZILIAN boy born with two penises due to a rare birth defect has had to have the bigger one removed. Though doctors at the Federal University of São Paulo originally planned to amputate the two-year-old’s right penis, which was smaller, they ended up cutting off the other one because he could only urinate through his right penis. His organs were conjoined at the base because of a medical condition called diphallia, which is thought to happen by chance when geni talia develop in the womb.
