I am a grandmother to five children. The last one recently wrote matric. Over 27 years I have watched as each one has been through school and university. Two have been outstanding in their academic achievements, and two have been dyslexic and needed remedial teaching from preschool until high school. The one has just become a mechanical engineer. FRANCE NO TO PLASTIC PACKAGING France has introduced a new law that bans stores from using plastic packaging for most vegetables and fruit. The French government believes this measure will reduce plastic pollution, cutting down on almost a billion single-use plastics each year. These are plastics that are used once, very briefly, then thrown away.
