My siblings were the most impressive of us all – they were sending pictures of their vaccine cards the same day vaccination opened to the 18- to 34-year-old group. Multiple sclerosis (MS), which affects approximately 2,4 million people worldwide, is an incurable disease that attacks the central nervous system and disrupts the flow of information in the brain and between the brain and the body. In MS sufferers the immune system attacks the protective sheath covering nerve fibres. LOVING THE OUTDOORS The couple and their daughters, ISABELLA (6) and ALEXA-ROSE (3), often go on adventures in the outdoors.
