One of my fondest childhood memories is of sitting on my dad’s lap, a Richard Scarry word book open on his knee. He’d point at the cute pictures that crowded the page and my job was to identify each object. How clever I felt! And it was such fun. Perfect bonding time.
We’re hoping this book will bring you and your little one just as much joy. Young children can learn about their wonderful world in their mother tongue. Older kids (and curious adults) can find out how to say everyday words in four languages: English, isiZulu, isiXhosa and Afrikaans.
Children’s brains are like sponges. By helping to expand your kids’ vocabulary you’ll be empowering them, educating them, bonding with them and improving their social skills. What’s not to love?…
