I’ve been diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s and my memory isn’t the only thing I lost. I lost the freedom to drive my car. Not that you ever lose the ability to drive but you might forget momentarily where you were going and pass your turn-off. Or you could brake suddenly and cause an accident.
