I thought I’d share some of my water-saving tips with your readers. Use one bath of water between two of you. Carry bath water in a bucket to the garden. Bath only every second day. Flush the toilet only for No 2s. Use bath water for laundry. For dishwashing use just two litres of water. Use the same dish rinsing water for three days. Use laundry rinsing water in the garden. Wash cars out of buckets. Fix dripping taps. Turn on the shower to wet the body, turn it off, soap up then turn on the shower to rinse. Small children should share a bath. There’s a plethora of emojis coming to a device near you in 2018 – but one of the proposed new images already has users taking to Twitter to voice their opinion of it.
