But a Boston-based wedding planner, VERONICA MORALES, had been using the name Blue Ivy for her company since 2009, so the Carters’ bid was unsuccessful. Still, the judge ruled they “can use the name for other potential business endeavours”. They’ve also applied to trademark Blue Ivy Carter.
