TRADITIONAL POTATO SALAD SERVES 6 Preparation: 15 min Cooking: 35-40 min Boil 6 large potatoes until done but still firm. Cool, peel then chop into large chunks. Finely chop 1 onion and put the potatoes and onion in a mixing bowl. Slice 4 gherkins and add to the bowl. CALM IN THE FACE OF CANCER MY WIFE was diagnosed with cancer of the rectum in July. It was discovered after an emergency operation for something completely different. This news changed our lives significantly. We had to wait eight weeks for her recovery from the operation before starting on chemo and radiotherapy programmes. In that time she had a string of tests.
