WELL, this is difficult to write! It’s my last editor’s letter and what a journey it has been. I’m retiring and handing over the reins to my very capable deputy, Charlene Rolls. As of next issue she’ll be at the helm of this wonderful magazine. As many of you know, I was one of the founding members of the YOU team when we first hit the shelves back in 1987. I remember those days so clearly – the adrenaline rush as we launched what soon became South Africa’s most loved weekly magazine. We loved the interaction with YOU readers.
