I’m a man of many lists. In some cases, that qualifies as a personality disorder. In my case, it’s the only way I can keep my priorities straight in a complicated work and personal world. I maintain separate reporter-style notebooks for day, week, long-term and groceries. I relish the simple pleasure of striking through missions accomplished. Baglietto’s 170-foot (52-meter) model in its T-Line of displacement superyachts is an evolution of the brand’s classic aesthetic. The graceful, yet muscular exterior styling by Francesco Paszkowski has proved quite a hit with owners, with eight of the yachts sold to date. But the fourth and most recent hull to be launched adds something notable. It’s the first T52 with hybrid propulsion. The system lets the skipper of the sub-500-gross-ton yacht select the most efficient navigation mode according to circumstances, to reduce fuel consumption and environmental impact. Naturally, no one today can be quite certain which mountain all those ancient myths refer to, and there are plenty of candidates in the Eastern Mediterranean, but the Mount Olympus in the Taurus range near Antalya, Turkey, would seem to have as good a claim as any.
