No one is more surprised than I am that there is a picture of me wearing nothing but cutoff jeans on this page. (Actually…my parents might be.) While I was incredibly inspired by all of the women in this issue sharing their unfiltered truths with photos to match, it honestly made my stomach drop to imagine doing so myself. Yet when I went to write this letter, it was so obvious that I had to walk the walk to talk the talk. So I amped up my planking, said yes to shimmery moisturizer, and did the darn thing. (And, happily, the experience cracked open a new sense of fearlessness in me that I’ve been leveraging every day since, personally and professionally!)
