Hosting a group relaxation session over Facebook, I struggled to catch my breath, stopping to cough throughout. When I eventually finished the video, I glugged water with relief. It was March 2020 and, since Christmas, my asthma had blighted my life.
I’d suffered with it as a child, but grew out of the worst of it, hardly needing my inhaler as an adult. Only, in late December 2019, it’d come back with a vengeance, and doctors couldn’t say why.
