Jacqueline Hickman (below, right), from Trewern in Wales, had never heard of needle felting, until a needle-felting workshop was held last year at the farm where she works. When her lunch break came round, she had a a go and within half an hour, having created a reasonably realistic pig, Jacqueline was hooked. Since then, she’s made robins for Christmas, hedgehogs, sheep, rabbits and this handsome hare. Well done, Jacqueline!
If you’re interested in trying needle felting, we will be running a beginner’s guide in our ‘Have a go at...’ craft series very soon – keep your eyes peeled!
D Have you made something gorgeous? Well, don’t be shy – we want to see it!…
