Listening to my daughter Sinead chatting in my kitchen, I felt a rush of pride.
‘We usually shared everything’ It was June 2014 and, having recently graduated with a degree in education, Sinead, then 21, had landed her dream teaching job at her old primary school. ‘Your pupils will love you,’ I smiled. But then everyone loved Sinead. Bubbly and thoughtful, she put 100% into everything, whether she was dancing at parties with her boyfriend, Jamie, or scoring top marks in exams.
