New plans are afoot to launch a scheme educating parents on how to say ‘no’ to their kids. This is designed to reduce childhood obesity after a trial scheme in Leeds was a success. Oh, it will be funded by the taxpayer. Surely there’s an easier way of dealing with pester power? It’s called the word ‘No’. The maximum sentence is seven years in prison, an unlimited fine, or even both. However, difficulties arise around what necessarily constitutes an intent to supply.
