Judy Finnigan has admitted that she’d stay tight lipped if she were to ever receive a life-threatening diagnosis. Judy was talking about newsreader Sian Williams’ decision to keep her breast cancer private, and confessed that if the same thing happened to her, she’d do the same. ‘Not everyone can recover in the full glare of publicity,’ she said. ‘And if I were to receive the dreaded diagnosis, I’d be more inclined to follow Sian’s route.’ Sian revealed in May that she’d had a double mastectomy after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2014, and has written a book about her experience. Simple is best When one of my sons had a birthday some years ago, I gave him an indoor camping party.
