Beverley: ‘I WAS ABANDONED’ Beverley Callard has opened up about her battle with depression, and admitted that friends ‘abandoned’ her when they learnt of  her illness. The Corriestar revealed, ‘I had one person say to me – and we’d been friends for a long time – ‘I don’t think we should see each other for a while.
