Brave Carol McGiffinhas spoken for the firsttime about her secretstruggle with breastcancer – a fight she’sbeen tackling privately for the past12 months with only the supportof fiancéMark Cassidy and her closefriends and family. The former Loose Women star, 55, discovered a lump in February 2014 while on holiday in Malaysia and was diagnosed with a highly aggressive grade 3 tumour in April. Since then, she’s undergone a mastectomy, six rounds of chemotherapy and 15 sessions of radiotherapy.
