Aussie Davis Cup captain Lleyton Hewitt copped a shock ban from the sport last week, after a lengthy investigation found he’d pushed a 60-year-old anti-doping volunteer in Spain late last year. Keen to mix up your dog’s diet? Do it slowly over a 14-day period to prevent digestive upset. Dogs have sensitive digestive systems, which means switching foods too quickly – whether changing brands, types or transitioning from puppy to adult portions – can cause problems like vomiting or diarrhoea. A gradual change lets their stomach adjust. The recommended approach is to start with 20 per cent new and 80 per cent old food for the first couple of days, slowly increasinging the newer additions while decreasing the old. By day 14 your dog should be fully transitioned. Monitor their digestion and pause the process if stomach issues occur.
