This Sunday is Mother’s Day, which can mean very different things to different people. We spoke to some of the MasterChef mums (p26) about their experiences, whether it’s missing a mum who is no longer with us, struggling to become a mum when you desperately want to be, or becoming a grandma and foster grandma, it goes to show that there’s no “right” way to feel about the day. Jordan and Gary Ablett Jr’s experience of parenthood is different again (p22). Their six-year-old son Levi has a degenerative condition, which has taught the whole family to slow down and appreciate the small moments in life. I think we could all take a leaf out of their book. Enjoy your week! Katherine Chatfield Editor…

They met at university in St Andrews, so Scotland has always held a special place in the hearts of the Prince and Princess of Wales and it is where they chose to celebrate their 14th wedding anniversary last week. The couple, who are “as happy as anyone has ever seen them”, planned a romantic trip to the remote Isles of Mull and Iona to coincide with royal duties, with William, 42, whisking Kate, 43, away to an isolated cottage to spend much-needed alone time after a challenging 12 months that has seen the mother-of-three battle cancer. According to insiders, the trip was also a chance to strengthen their already rock-solid marriage, with Kate vowing to William that she will “always put their marriage first” amid reports that Duchess Meghan, 43,…

But seeing what I believe to be my recipes, and my words printed in a multimillion-dollar book launched with a huge publicity campaign from one of Australia’s biggest publishers was shocking” – claims that Brooki has categorically denied and called “deeply distressing”. In a statement posted to social media, Brooki said, “I do not copy other people’s recipes.…
Boatloads of fun! Delta Goodrem is counting down the days until she marries her bandmate Matthew Copley, but there’s growing speculation that her mum Lea might not be there on her special day – especially after she was noticeably absent from the singer’s hens party. The bride-to-be, 40, gathered her loved ones for a day on a luxury yacht cruising Sydney’s Northern Beaches, with best friend Renee Bargh even bringing along her newborn daughter Soleil. A lavish dinner at Palm Beach’s Joey followed, before the group headed to a waterfront mansion, but Delta’s mother was nowhere to be seen. An onlooker tells Woman’s Day of the soiree, “The group looked to be having the time of their lives, singing and dancing on the boat. They partied all night long.” Just…
