I’m a big fan of the Met Gala. In fact, I think I’d go so far as to say it’s my favourite Hollywood event of the year! So much so that I hosted a Met Gala viewing party at my house last week, complete with a home-cooked dinner (from the Woman’s Day recipe pages, of course!) and champagne, as some friends and I debated who won best dressed. My top picks, you ask? Well, I couldn’t go past Nicole Kidman. The Aussie beauty looked stunning in a feathered vintage-inspired frock, with adoring husband Keith Urban there to help her navigate the challenges of a red carpet in an oversized gown. And let’s not forget Michelle Williams and Demi Moore – both were in my top 10. But not everyone was…

When Prince Harry arrived in London for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games Foundation last week, there was hope that a family reunion of sorts might be on the cards. But just hours later, he was forced to admit that King Charles was too busy to meet with him. A statement was swiftly issued from Harry’s camp, stating frostily, “In response to the many inquiries and continued speculation on whether or not the duke will meet with his father while in the UK this week, it unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full program.” It added, “The duke of course is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon.” Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams reacted to the news,…
There are several good reasons why King Charles lets his beloved niece Zara Tindall break the rules all the time. For one, he clearly adores her big protocol-destroying bear hugs, which were on full display during a tender reunion at the Royal Windsor Horse Show recently. Charles, 75, has also been working behind the scenes putting together plans to rebuild his dwindling ranks and wants to promote the mother-of-three to her rightful title of princess. And onlookers are convinced this is the moment he told her! “He was thrilled to see her, and there was something he said that definitely made her pause for a moment,” says an eyewitness. “It would be amazing if he were to make her a princess. She’s like a surrogate daughter for him. He clearly…
PRINCESS BEATRICE Beatrice, 35, has “impressed” both the King and Prince William with how she’s stepped up in the wake of the health issues in the palace, according to OK! magazine. Sources say it’s “only a matter of time” before she will be recruited formally to the royal roster, as seen by the increase in her responsibilities at home and overseas. “Charles is thrilled with how Beatrice has taken on her Counsellor of State role,” says an insider. “It’s clear she’s taking this opportunity very seriously. She’s under no illusions about the damage her father’s interview did, but all that aside, Beatrice has been nothing but an asset to the royal family. Both Charles and William want her on the roster as soon as possible.” LADY LOUISE WINDSOR Also appearing…
