Stir-fried pork with ginger sauce Bring a taste of Tokyo into your home SERVES 4 To make marinade, combine 2 tbsp saké, 1 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp mirin, 2½ tbsp soy sauce and 3cm grated ginger in a bowl. Add 600g pork belly (cut into 5-6 mm thick slices) and leave to marinate 15 mins. Slice ¼ white cabbage very thinly using a mandoline, then divide evenly between 4 large serving plates and place a lemon quarter alongside. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan on a high heat and add drained pork. Saute 2-3 mins, turning the meat to brown both sides. United in grief, the families of Sydney couple Jesse Baird and Luke Davies have spoken of their heartache and horror following the news of their shock deaths last month. Police have alleged Jesse, 26, and his partner Luke, 29, were killed at a home in Sydney’s Inner East on February 19 by NSW Police officer Beau Lamarre-Condon.
