Vanilla slice with passionfruit icing A summertime favourite! Preheat oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. Place 2 sheets frozen butter puff pastry sheets (thawed) on a large oven tray lined with baking paper. Cover with baking paper and weigh down with another tray. Bake 20 mins or until crisp and golden. Cool on a rack. Place 1½ cups milk, 1½ pure cream, 60g chopped unsalted butter, 2 tsp vanilla bean paste, and ²/³ cup caster sugar in a medium saucepan.
