Music icon Mick Jagger’s heirs were left reeling after the rocker hinted he may leave his multimillion-dollar fortune to charity instead of them!
The 80-year-old Rolling Stones frontman says his eight “children don’t need [$800 million] to live well,” when asked if he’d considered selling the band’s extensive back catalogue of hit songs.
Instead, Mick says leaving his mountains of money to charity could “maybe do some good in the world”.
While some fans dubbed the surprise move “a slap in the face” for his kids – Karis, 52, Jade, 51, Elizabeth, 39, James, 38, Georgia May, 31, Gabriel, 25, Lucas, 24, and Deveraux, six – who were no doubt expecting a hefty inheritance, others applauded the superstar singer’s philanthropy.
