Every day food Myrtle tea cake The perfect afternoon treat! MAKES 1 CAKE Preheat oven to 160°C. Grease and line a 20cm square cake tin. Combine 320g butter (grated and softened), 3 cups caster sugar, 3 cups self-raising flour, ½ cup custard powder, 3 free-range eggs, 1½ cups milk, 2 tsp ground cinnamon myrtle, 2 tsp ground anise myrtle, 2 tsp ground lemon myrtle and finely grated zest of 2 finger limes in a stand mixer, fitted with whisk attachment.
