Chris Hemsworth was a whole world away from his family as catastrophic floods tore through the NSW region where they live last week – and the stress was plainly etched on his face.
The actor, 38, was spotted making a tense phone call in St Moritz, Switzerland, where he was trying to enjoy some downtime amid filming Extraction 2 in Europe.
Across the other side of the world in Byron Bay, his wife, actress Elsa Pataky, and his three kids, India, nine, and twins Tristan and Sasha, who turn eight this week, were trapped by the terrifying floods.
According to reports, the entrance to their $30 million home was “completely flooded”, and Elsa was without phone reception.
