Woman’s Day is Australia’s number one-selling weekly women’s magazine, offering all the latest celebrity gossip and exclusive interviews as well as fascinating real-life reads, mouth-watering recipes, beauty, fashion, food, health and family advice.
Growing up in Rylstone, a small, quaint town in NSW, I remember dreaming about one day becoming a magazine editor. Despite some hurdles along the way, it was the incredible women in my life – my mother, sisters, aunty and late grandmother – who encouraged and supported me as I set out to make my dream a reality. All these years later, it’s an absolute privilege to be writing my first editor’s letter for Woman’s Day – a magazine close to my heart (my first mag job was in the WD digital department) and one that’s been a friend and source of entertainment for so many women across the country for decades. As our fabulous team put this issue together – it’s jam-packed with all your favourite royals and celebrities…

MEET STEVIE JACOBS’ VERY OWN CARRIE BRADSHAW! The crowds at Sydney’s Bondi Beach caused quite the stir last week, with hordes of beachgoers taking advantage of the new picnic rules for locked-down NSW. And Woman’s Day spotted two very notable members of the crowd – TV and radio presenter Stevie Jacobs, 54, and dating podcaster and columnist Jana Hocking, 37. The pair appeared in very good spirits, ditching their masks and sharing some drinks by the water. It’s unsure if this means Steve, who split from his wife Rosie, with whom he shares two daughters, in 2018, has ended his relationship with Amanda King, who he was dating earlier this year and who sources previously told Woman’s Day had “fallen in love” with the star. In January, the former Today…
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have come under heavy fire for what many have described as a quasi-royal tour of New York. And it’s not hard to understand why, given the couple – who say they retreated from the royal family in an effort to maintain privacy – managed to splash out around $542,000 in three days as they toured some of the poorest parts of the city, in a trip designed to lecture about vaccine equality. The clangers came thick and fast as soon as the pair touched down in the world’s most culturally diverse city, where their first appearance was to tour the World Trade Center’s 9/11 museum and memorial. This came just weeks after they were accused of distastefulness for running the victims’ names on their…
When the Sussexes took New York, it was meant to be their glorious return to public life – but they didn’t expect the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s appearance at the James Bond movie premiere in London to wipe them off the front pages just two days later. Dressed in a glittering $5240 Jenny Packham gown, Kate, 39, wowed even 007 himself, the film’s star Daniel Craig, who blushed as he informed her she looked “jolly lovely”. “It was a look Meghan, who tries high fashion with mixed results, would not in her wildest dreams have thought up,” says a palace source. “Kate gave a masterclass in classic glam, and there’s no doubt Meghan would be seething over being literally outshone.” Kate also won praise for her show of tenderness…
At age eight, Prince George is by all accounts a happy-go-lucky kid, who’s obsessed with soccer and hunting for insects in the garden with his siblings. But royal sources say the young man – who is already nearly as tall as his mum, the Duchess of Cambridge – is becoming aware that his future doesn’t quite look like other boys his age. Buckingham Palace insiders have exclusively revealed to Woman’s Day that the Queen has begun preparing her great-grandson for his destiny as King George VII, with the current monarch “already taking private audiences” with the boisterous youngster. This follows reports that Kate and Prince William, both 39, informed George on his seventh birthday that he will one day be sovereign. “George is a bright child and has long seemed…
