SAM’S STRAWBERRY TOFFEE POPS MAKES 16 PREP + COOK 50 MINS + STANDING • 16 large strawberries • 1 cup flaked almonds, toasted • 2 cups white sugar • 1 cup water • 180g dark chocolate melts 1 Push lollipop sticks or skewers through the green top (hull), three-quarters of the way into the top of each strawberry. 2 Finely chop nuts and place in a small bowl. Line work surface with a long sheet of baking paper. 3 Combine sugar and water in small saucepan. Stir over low heat until sugar dissolves. Bring to boil. Boil, without stirring, 15 mins or until golden caramel in colour. Remove from heat. Allow bubbles to subside. 4 Working quickly, dip strawberries, one at a time, into caramel mixture, allowing excess to drip…
