It wasn’t ball gowns, suits and tiaras when Princess Mary and her brood visited the Faroe Islands last week.
Instead, Mary, 46, her husband Prince Frederik, 50, and their gorgeous children Christian, 12, Isabella, 11, and twins Vincent and Josephine, seven, donned local traditional garb for a Sunday church service.
The kids took their appearance very seriously, with onlookers noting they looked “wonderful” dressed in accordance with custom.
Women wear ankle-length skirts and shawls made of silk or wool, while men wear smartly buttoned coats and knee-length socks. “It was fantastic to see Mary in the national outfit,” says an onlooker. “She looked just as stunning as she does in her usual designer dresses.”…
