For Lulu Sun, summer means returning to New Zealand to reunite with family, eat fish and lamb, maybe bungy jump, plus compete with her siblings – with a golf club rather than a racket. SPICED PLUM & YOGHURT ICE BLOCKS MAKES 8 PREP 10 MINS COOK 15 MINS • 500g ripe plums, pitted • ¼ cup brown sugar • 2 whole cloves • 1 ½ cups vanilla yoghurt • 4 wooden ice-block sticks 1 In a saucepan, combine plums, sugar, cloves and ½ cup water. Stir over low heat until sugar dissolves. Simmer, covered, for 15 mins or until plums soften. Discard cloves. Transfer to a food processor. Blend until smooth. Gently fold through vanilla yoghurt to create swirls. 2 Carefully spoon purée into 8 x 100ml capacity ice-block moulds and insert ice-block sticks.
