From traditional hula to mana-filled performances by artists such as Stan Walker, Polynesian culture was celebrated at the world premiere of Jason Momoa’s new series Chief Of War in O‘ahu, Hawai’i.
Walking the red carpet with his girlfriend Adria Arjona, 33, Jason, 45, who wrote, starred and produced the highly anticipated Apple TV+ series, wore a traditional ‘ahu‘ula (cloak).
He was joined by his two children to ex-wife Lisa Bonet, 57, daughter Lola, 18, and son Nakoa-Wolf, 16.
With the series filmed between Hawai’i and New Zealand, our local actors were out in force, including Jason’s co-star Te Ao o Hinepenga, 30, who wore a stunning Simple Sustainability dress. She walked the red carpet alongside her mum Tania Rauna and her language coach Kalei Kawa’a.
