The sound of music AMANDA SAYS Riley, a beloved dog, had only just passed three days before our connection. Riley showed me that he is now with his dad, Annie’s brother, who passed away not long ago due to an aneurysm. Annie’s brother misses his two children and he expressed his gratitude to Annie for taking Riley in – the two are now reunited. Pushka, a cat once owned by Annie, also came through. Almond & cherry cookies Treat yourself to these chewy delights MAKES 18 Preheat oven to 190˚C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large bowl, combine 250g almond flour, 150g sugar, 2 tbsp honey, 2 egg whites, ¼ tsp fine sea salt and ¼ tsp almond extract. Mix well with a wooden spoon until a sticky dough forms.
