As she was busy making new comedy series Duckrockers, actress and writer Teuila Blakely had to deal with two deeply emotional family tragedies. UVB is the biggest cause of sunburn and skin cancer, reaching the epidermis or top layer of the skin. UVA rays, on the other hand, are present all year round, penetrating through glass and clouds. I’ve found a new home AMANDA SAYS Peppi tells me she is still alive and living in a house with another white cat. Peppi says she went missing about four years ago, when a door was accidentally left open. She was chased by another cat and got very scared as the mean cat stalked her. Peppi was a very friendly cat and let a person pick her up, but they then took her home to their place. Peppi tells me she is microchipped, but the vets did not look at that. She had a lot of fun with Debbie and her family, especially chasing the ball and bringing it back. SPEEDY SATAY CHICKEN NOODLES SERVES 4 PREP 10 MINS COOK 10 MINS • 750g chicken thigh fillets, trimmed, sliced thickly • 1/3 cup satay sauce • 4 x 75g packet 2 minute mi goreng noodles • 2 cucumbers, chopped • 4 green onions, finely sliced, tips shredded 1 In a bowl, combine chicken, half the satay sauce, noodle seasoning sachets and a splash of vegetable oil.
