This week, I was supposed to be on a romantic anniversary getaway in Glenorchy, with invigorating hikes, alpine views and lots of yummy kai cooked by someone else. TOFU HONEY NOODLES SERVES 4 PREP 10 MINS COOK 10 MINS • 2 bunches broccolini, cut in half • 250g snow peas, sliced thickly • 270g dried udon noodles • 2 x 200g packet honey soy tofu, cut into 3cm pieces • 2 tbsp white sesame seeds, toasted 1 In a large frying pan over high heat, add 2 tbsp olive oil. Cook broccolini pieces 2 mins or until slightly charred. Set aside and repeat with snow peas. 2 Bring a large pot of water to the boil. Cook noodles 2-3 mins or until al dente. Avocado & prawn fried rice A fresh and flavoursome take on a classic dish SERVES 4 Heat a wok or large nonstick frying pan over high heat. Add 2 tbsp vegetable oil. Stir-fry 1 diced brown onion, 1 diced carrot, 2 garlic cloves (finely chopped) and ½ cup of Chinese sausage (or bacon) with a good pinch of salt for 2-3 mins.
