CREAMY BROCCOLI, SPINACH & POTATO SOUP

• 2 tsps olive oil • 2 rashers bacon, rind removed, chopped • 1 onion, chopped • 1 garlic clove, crushed • 3 potatoes, peeled, chopped • 1.5 litres chicken stock • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg, plus extra to sprinkle • 1 bunch English spinach, trimmed, chopped • 500g broccoli, cut into florets • ¼ cup thickened cream 1 In a large saucepan, heat oil on high.
