In the surest sign that an engagement announcement is imminent, Meghan Markle’s parents have met the Queen and Prince Charles for the first time in an informal gathering at Buckingham Palace.
In what has been described as an “engagement summit”, the Suits star’s dad Thomas and mum Doria Ragland flew from their home in Los Angeles to the British capital, where they stayed two days at Kensington Palace, before enjoying dinner with the royal family at Her Majesty’s London residence.
Also joining Prince Harry, 32, Meghan, 35, the Queen, 91, and Charles, 68, were the Duchess of Cornwall, 69, Prince William, 34, and the Duchess of Cambridge, 35, with cuties Prince George, three, and Princess Charlotte, two, making an appearance before dinner.
